The heritage walking tour starts from the Independence Square and will take you to many historical landmarks of Kuala Lumpur, fondly known as KL. Your guide will share with you interesting facts and history of KL, from her bith place at the confluence of two rives with a few shanty wooden houses to become the metropolitan and one of the financial capitals of South East Asia. After the tour, transfer back to the hotel or you may opt to be dropped off at the Central Market, a great place to shop for local souvenirs.

MALACCA TOUR

 
     

Malacca is a UNESCO heritage site, the historic colonial towns is a living testimony to the multi-cultural heritage of traditional Asia and European colonial influences. Here many battles has been fought to gain control of this strategic base located between the Eastern and Western world leading to the monopoly and control of the lucrative East Indies' spice trade. When the early European settlers departed, they left behind a treasure trove of historical buildings and landmarks synonymous to Malacca today.

Lunch (optional) will be served at a local Peranakan restaurant and after lunch, the groups will then continue on the tours mentioned above before all adjourned at Cheng Hoon Teng, the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia, where you can find 3 major doctrines of local Chinese belief under the same roof: Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. After visiting Cheng Hoon Teng, group will walk towards Kampung Kling Mosque (photo stop) and Jonker Street (Antique Row).

A DAY IN RAINFOREST

 
     

Come and experience the feeling of being in the tropical rainforest within the city limits of Kuala Lumpur! This program is specially designed to introduce the wonders and beauty of a primary tropical rainforest, led by an expert on Malaysian Jungles. Approximately an hour's journey to the outskirts of the city, you will pass through typical Malay villages where you can catch a glimpse of local villagers going about with their daily chores.

 

On your arrival at the lodge, before proceeding with jungle trekking, your guide will give you a brief introduction of the place, help you to identify various fruit trees, and share with you some of the activities and games frequently played by the local villagers. You can test your shooting skills with a blowpipe, waddle in the nearby running stream, take a dip in the swimming pool or just lounge under the sun, absorb the fresh, clean air from the lush tropical surroundings. Be prepared to get your shoes wet when threading on streams and river, during trekking.

ABORIGINE SETTLEMENT & ELEPHANT SANCTUARY

 
     

Drive on through scenic jungle and oil palm plantations to reach the Aborigine village to see their lifestyles. The Aborigines live a nomadic lifestyle and their customs and traditions are intriguing.

After the photo taking session we move on to the elephant sanctuary to watch a video on the conservation and translocation of elephants. This will be followed by feeding elephant and bathing.

COUNTRYSITE & BATU CAVES TOUR

 
     

You will have the opportunity to visit the Royal Selangor Pewter factory, the largest and most modern pewter factory in the world, renowned for its high quality products and exceptional craftsmanship. During the tour of the factory, you will learn and experience the different processes such as casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving of pewter products.

 

A visit to the Batik factory will show you how local batik, the art of decorating cloth with wax and dye to create wonderful colours and patterns, is made.

 

The renowned limestone hills of Batu Caves north of Kuala Lumpur attract thousands of worshippers and tourists, especially during the annual Thaipusam Festival. The main attraction is the large statue of the Hindu God at the entrance, which stands at the foots of a steep 272- step climb up to the caves and a stunning view of the city skyline
